Michelle's Gaelic College Bodhrán Classes Summer 2019Mar 29, 2019
I'm excited to announce I'll be back teaching bodhrán at Colaisde na Gàidhlig / The Gaelic College in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada again this summer (2019). It's the perfect time to awaken your inner rhythm and learn and connect with like-minded people in a magical surrounding. Anyone who has ever been will tell you it's an experience of a lifetime.
This year I'll be there for Adult Session 1 August 5th - 9th, 2019.
There are five classes a day and you can choose from a variety of instruments, dance and language.

What if I don't have a drum?
Note For Beginners: If you don't already have a drum, and not sure what to buy, you can borrow one of my extra workshop drums and use it for the week. Just let me know so I can put one aside for you. There will be students there with drums of different makes and sizes so it will be the perfect opportunity to try lots of different drums before buying one.
Please email me directly at [email protected] to reserve borrowing a drum.
What they don't tell you, but should . . .
As a live-in student you not only have all your meals made for you, but someone else does the dishes too! As a wife and mother I always appreciate when someone else does the cooking and cleaning. Escaping from everyday responsibilities allows you to truly immerse yourself in the music and culture.
Hope to see you there!
